hey dood'z
just a quick question anyone have any idea how to make Spectrum Analyzer wiht LED's in 5 and 1/4 bay suggested is like 10 rows of 8 leds that drisplays like the thing in the winamp display. anyone help??? PLEASE ![]() thanks ^GLiTCH^ Http://flipsidechat.homestead.com |

hmm...
wouldnt mind gettin myself one of those a mate has a digital UV meter for 4 channels. it looks pretty mad, all he has to do is drill all those little holes into a face plate for bezels to make it look decent ill keep an eye out for some, if i see any, ill give u a yell

Hmmmm
For that to work you would probably need 10 level displays with 8 leds and 10 bandpass? filters of varying ranges on the input side of the level displays. Some one here with a little better knowledge of electronics would know how to put this all together; but 20-60 hz filter, accepts all freqs 20-60 hz, rejects rest ---> led VU meter = 20-60 hz display 60-200 hz filter, as above but 60-200hz, ---> led vu meter = 60-200 hz display, and so on up to the frequency top end you want to measuer e.g. 16,000 hz.

Thats one way of doing it...
But any way you do it, it is quite a hard thing for anyone to make by hand. Your talking about 80 leds... soldering those onto a PCB so they are flat alone is quite a hard task.

well it works regardless of the sound card you have. It processes the sound to make it sound better. just search in google. u should get some more info on it.
If u r in sydney...u can get it for about $180. |
