Hrrrm... seems 'interesting'.
Not really suited for my purposes as I like to have a taskbar (Samurize Band) monitoring app which I use 0.63c quite nicely for. Unfortunately this release doesn't seem to have fixed my major gripe, and that is having the ability to move text around the area nicely. As of now I have to use weird fonts (like system) in order to avoid too much 'whitespace' above the text. This will severely limit my options as far as text choices and spacing of elements will go. Have to see how it goes. Also, will this version implement the 'samurize band'? Will probably have to wait for version 1.0 :/ I like the new progress bars now though, a lot of hassle has been removed. But has anyone else noted the lack of borders around elements? If I've missed something please let me know. Overlaying elements on the one bar will help me immesely however Seeing as I use the Samurize Band I am limited to only one graphic area in 0.63c. 0.80 will allow me to overcome aggravating problems like having a CPU usage bar covering the entire graphic area :/. Will have to wait until there are some english speaking forums and manuals/guides available before I do anything too risque.

I'm not going to have a chance to play with the program tonight (yeah, have to work tomorrow).
But looking at it quickly, it is similiar to the last one, but easier to use and also has .PNG input for custom background pics. Another nice feature looks like in the progress bars. You can choose a start colour and a end colour, and it blends as it goes along the bar (sort of like in windows borders where u choose two colours and they blend into each other) and also the splitting at intervals (took me ages to make one of them for 4 hdds last time) Add Console program looks ok also. Few silly things also. A progress bar/analog bar/histogram for winamp?? Unless it can go thru and show a %age of ur playlist (50% played) No, it doesnt appear to have borders for individual bars. The only quick fix I can think of is, edit graphics, add rectangle slightly bigger than bar, add a smaller rectangle same size as bar and place in centre of prev rectangle. Would give a border. But thats a quick fix anyway. They may add it back in to final version. It will be good to have a play with it tomorrow evening when I get home from work

Played with it a bit more and it does seem to offer most of what I need except for two striking inabilities.
I cannot get a Samurize Band like in the 0.63c version, and the annoying 'white space' around fonts is stopping me from doing what I really want to do. Apart from that it seems remarkably stable so far, but then I have yet to see if the Bigpond Usage Meter script is compatible or not.

First attempt, with tweaks still to be made:
![]() Most annoying thing so far? Not being able to group select items... what a pain in the ass!!!! This image was made by just dragging the client task over the taskbar. It won't permanently work on the taskbar. If you click on the taskbar it automatically hides the samurize client (even with 'always on top' selected in Samurize).

Seems to be an improvement on Samurize (Which I thought was pretty good anyway)
Will let you know more after I've had a further play. |

Heres my "quick" (took the better part of the day!) attempt with a png background. This is my home LAN server, it runs off a small monitor next to my main one so I can see it all the time, The aim was some readability from distance. I can see the time from bed! Mind the jpg compression.
http://www4.tpg.com.au/vell/server.jpg Just gotta work out how to properly use psp for transparancies etc now. Also gotta work out how I'm going to implement the total in/total out. I want it to reflect my optus usage but I haven't found a way to do that yet (any ideas guys) Btw Mongy, How/where did you get the script to display the exchange rate atm?

Download, do a minor bit of editing of the vbs file (I just did 2 of them, think it goes to 5 or 10 off the top of my head) and chuck into the script dir. Run an active script within SS and pick item number 1 and 2.. thats what mine is anyway Anyone else have any phunky things that you dont think many other people know how to use/never thought of using?? I think the only 3 things I have which I havent seen much in Australia, is share prices (not shown in current SS view), The currency converter and also an Australian news headlines stream. Will put them up at some stage if people show an interest in those scripts.

Ok, this is one that I've been waiting for!
Hasn't been too bad sofar, 1 crash of the application when using a Active Script, but since, these aren't supose to be portable I'm not complaining ![]() My major grip atm, is that you can't do to group selections to move say 12 things a few pixles to one side Very annoying, oh well http://www.watcher-chronicles.com/Wa...Screenshot.jpgClick for larger view Otherwise, I'm giving this a big thumbs up !!! Well worth the time to play with it. Watcher

Ok, here is my briefly made one:
Not finished yet. But what I need to work out is how to get the bar labelled T: that has my usage display on it, to reflect my usage? I've got both set to getunratedusage yet the text works but the bar doesn't
