its all just cyanoacrylate anyway, which is superglue. so much cheaper from a hobby shop than those tiny expensive packets you buy at the hardware store / supermarket.

You can get the large packs from the hardware store too, in the guise of Loctite 401 and its relatives and equivalents.
There are a few different viscosities of it for different sizes of gaps. |

Well I just have to fill some gaps, it's going to be more difficult now due to the wheel being dirty, have to somehow clean it without getting any liquids into the wheels.

I glued my first set of tyre the other day. I think it went OK, save for one bit of one bead which seems to be sitting a little high. Waiting for some new pinions to come in so I can try the new rubber though.
Also painted my baja bug shell. I swear, painting on the inside of bodies is the best idea ever! So much easier than normal spraying with a pressure pack. I need to get better at trimming though I think. ![]() Not sure I'm sold on the stripes, but they're just striping tape so I can always change them anyway.

I just installed my FS-GT3B, I haven't even used the thing yet and I think I'm in love. What a great little package, specially for the dollars

Speedworks, you know those GT3-B's can be formware hacked and made into a 6 channel controller

I've seen posts about the place with details of hacks, hadn't seen anything about 6 channels though. I only need 2 so that doesn't interest my at any rate.
I just need to keep the damn car in once piece so I can get a bit more time using my new toy. Busted mount on the base of the shock today, not happy

Finished rebuilding the Merv, did a quick test run and wasn't happy with the shock setup so I swapped the front springs and oil, have to try and do some running tomorrow after work.
Almost all the slop is gone now though, and it's definately much prettier. ![]() ![]()

Having a break from 1/5th racing, having another crack at bloody nitro..
Sourced a old (but brand new) HB Lightning Pro 2 truggy kit online, started building it, have the servos, pipe and radio gear, just need to get a engine for it, 50% there. I had the first edition so have a few spare bits for it ![]() edit: a pic of my old LSP truggy, not that much different to its newer rendition, flying tank The second edition is half the weight tho![]()

Played some tiggy with the wife today. Let her drive my Slash and I drove a Blitz that I had laying around. She hit me one of the times and it seemed like a 1:1 crash - side dinted in and I could barely move the Blitz (body was caught on the wheels).
