anyone know of any p4 socket 478 water blocks?

Jeremy told me about changing to a PIV platform, this probably means hes got some socket478 blocks coming late jan

At the moment, only dangerden produce socket478 blocks. I however, being a patriot, would not touch the Yank stuff with a 10 foot pole.

Of course, check out www.pcca.com.au, i suggest you wait until silverprop unveil the new socket 478 line late jan (it will be worth it)

i might be able to get one custom made, i just need some size info and to see how others fit them on

Ar, do you have plans already?

If not, i could probably draw a decent 1/2" block up for you. Dan of dansdata has the measurements between AMD vs. Intel mount holes...

Our S478 blocks will be ready by late January.

Price from $55 for the copper block.

As for the Danger Den one I am sure that is a socket 423 not a socket 478... Socket 478 is different to all the other sockets. There are no screw holes on the PCB and no clamps on the socket for anything to clip onto. They use like some big black barrier thing...

there's nothing stopping you getting a cyclone (provided they're not sold out) and making your own clip (if your that desperate).
