Once again, for the thread suscribers hiding(?) out there, after a year of nothing I have finally got round to updating the disk...

Version 6.4 - 26 JAN 2009

This release is highly recommended as there are many driver updates that are critical for any new machines. The complete change log is as follows:
* Added Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 driver (adds support for Asus EEE PC)
* Added Pro 100 auto-detections
* Updated Pro 1000 Driver + PnP auto-detections (the most requested update of them all!)
* Updated Realtek 8169 Driver
* Updated Realtek 8168 Driver
* Updated Realtek 8139 Driver
* Updated Broadcom B57 Driver + PnP auto-detections
* Updated Broadcom Netxtreme II Driver + added PnP IDs
* Updated Marvell Yuken Driver + added PnP ID's,
* Updated Atheros L1 driver
* Updated Atheros L2 driver
* Updated Xircom Cardbus R2BEM56G driver
* Updated nVidia driver + PnP autodetections
* Updated SiS 190/191 driver
* Updated VIA Velocity driver
* Updated VIA Rhine driver
* Updated Build script ZIP.EXE - This should solve the random crash problem during the initial disk build process. When it crashed, command.com wouldn't get added, thus the disk would fail!
* Updated CuteMouse driver
* 3Com 3C940 LOM now auto-detects to use the Marvell driver.
* Renamed Attansic references to Atheros (Atheros now owns Attansic)
* Improved descriptions for many Intel/Broadcom/Marvell network cards, based on info from the Windows INF drivers. This is a purely cosmetic touch, but handy never the less.
* Minor cosmetic changes to Menu
* Minor tweaks to MakeDisk Script

Have fun

Only 1 small issue - The link on your website still points to the old version!

http://www.netbootdisk.com/download/netboot65.zip works though

BTW Nice work, thanks for sharing.

Default back from the dead!

Ok sorry to bring this one back up but.....

I loaded the Net Boot Disk to Floppy and works great! I need to use it on a USB since most of the systems I need it for do not have floppy drives. I loaded the latest net Boot on the USB and it boots from it fine but I keep getting out of environment space for most of the items it loads. Config.sys is showing SHELL=C:\COMMAND.COM /E:4096 /P
Like I said it works fine with that from a floppy but I need it on a USB drive. Do I need to do something different for the USB to work right?

Thanks

Hello, registered to let ppl know that i have exacly the same issue, did right steps for usb boot, win unlocker to format system, xcopy system off, hp tool to prep with copied files, make bootdisk > out of envoirement space etc.
Doing same thing to 3.5 floppy, all good, so i ran around with usb floppydrive but that is not ideal.

If anyone figures out what makes usb key work, please consider registering/letting others know.
