More importantly, what's your motherboard? Because that will determine what you should be looking at .

eg. need new motherboard? that will probably mean ram etc

Yeah, I had a 1.3Ghz Duron and it did perform quite well for a dirt cheap chip

Default some more suggestions on the ga-7ixe4??

Hey all,
I also got a ga-7ixe4 and hoping to do something like this...

up the processor to 1.3 duron
up the ram to 512
up the vid card to ???

some questions I have is

what ram will this card support up 2? and what would be the cheapest option?

and what vid card would be good for this. Hopefully to get resonable perf (800x600 is resonable for me on my budget) with NLF 2.

suggestions?

ta

go to the gigabyte website and look up the board, that will tell you all you want to know. and if not, the manual will.

i used to play JK3 fairly well with my GF2 MX200...it's probably as low as you would want to go though. definetly get a 64MB version if you decide to go with one.
