The price - It hurts It hurts!

Still has "pre-order" status

$236.50 extra is a bit of a premium for an additional 33MHz...

Id love to know how many of the top line AXP's the larger companies sell (ie PlusCorp, AusPCMarket etc). I cant imagine the number being high at all, although they would get some sales from people after the latest and greatest AXP (even though they could get a better AXP for 1/3 of the price, or a decent P4 for less)

They can charge pretty much what they like... Intel currently doesn't have a CPU available to outdo the XP3200+ (of course that is debatable, but the average Joe Random doesn't know that).

The 3200s are supposed to be good overclockers.

Indeed.

915 will buy you 6 XP2100s to test, keep the best, and sell the rest.

WEll maybe they(AMD)are learning that Shit products makes the most profits ,take the CeLeron, its the moneyball for Intel. So the latest and greatest might grab a few punters(or suckers)..hehehe hope so for AMD sake..and in the long run ...
