With the new canterwood/springdale, I would recommend PC3500 *minimum* as the ram used

[Edit: 2gb of ram? Yer man from what ive seen 1gb and above struggles to get any overclockability in 1:1 mode....Have a look at Walts thread on the IC7-G ]

I've got 2 x Samsung PC3200 (256mb sticks) that run in dual mode without issues. Having said that, I haven't tried to overclock yet either.

You might not get the full potential of the RAM out of it ..I can only run 214 stable in 1:1 mode stable tho the modules are capable of 230MHz

Why do you think you need 2gb of ram???? Even 1 gb is heaps. Im going to upgrade myself when the prescott chipset comes out. Ive got a celeron 1.2 gig & 512 mb of memory. I think that is enough memory for most stuff. I was thinking of getting 1 gb of memory but not sure now. You going to sgl right? Because i am.
