mobile phone download questions

i need some info:
what type of pics can i download to my color phone for wallpaper? filetype, resolution, dimensions, etc.

what type of animations (as above)?

what programs do ppl use for polyphonic ringtones (i have "coding workshop ringtone converter", but its a restricted demo, and im having trouble *finding the right software to register it*)? (programs for converting audio->midi, audio->ringtone code for your phone)
what type of files can i download to my mobile (midi?)

does it all depend on the type of phone i have? (a motorola e360)

i had the e360 for about a month, nice small cheap fone, couldnt find nething wotsoever for it, it seems that only stuff for it is available in hongkong. Got some stupid screensavers tho, but pretty pointless. Although this fone is polyphonic i think its only 3 tone and not sure if it supports midi and u can only get ringtones via ems (not sure how tho).

I now am a proud owner of a Motorola A830, does the lot and has MMS as well.
