Default Anyone ever seen thos Hi-Fi DVD players all in one???

I did today, the G/F was after a hifi as the TV speakers where shite in her TV... in the end she ended up paying $650 for a Kenwood, that has DTS, 5.1, and also a DVD / CD player...

I hooked it up for her this afternoon and I have to admit I was impressed by the picture quality, as well as the sound... not a bad price either i guess...

So it came with 5 speakers + a sub + DTS decoder (or is it just a pass thru and requires an external decoder) all for $650!? Impressive price.

Nope it didn't have the sub or 2 rears, (she claims it makes no difference to her) Women...

But it does have the ouputs and you can add them on later, the Bass isn't to bad, but nothing like a decent sub.. will be a great bedroom system kind of thing...

Just wondering if its region free ? S-video output ??

Also as most DVD players seem to have MP3 playback, does your GF stereo allow that ??

The stereo is in that funky blue colour Ive seen at HN ?

Lets say its going back.. after a bit of study tonight etc etc..

Firstly and mainly, someone has popped the cones of the speakers in (it was floor stock and I am thinking a child)

Also, dosen't play CDR's and is R4... so morale of the story, it will be returned, spend less on just a basic hi fi player that does play CDR's, and spend the saved $300 on a cheapish DVD player that can play VCD and is multzoned
