Cool I finally finish my folding farm

Hi all,

Finally finish my folding farm and get it running.

The farm consists of a Windows 2000 Advanced Server (AXP2000+ with 512MB RAM, ASUS A7N266-VM, 10GB Hard disk, AOpeb A340 Alu Case) running Litenet and Intel PXE softwares, and 11 AXP2100+ boxes (Gigabyte 7VKML, 128MB RAM, AOpen H340D Case) running Windows 98SE images distributed from the server. Internet connection is achieved by a Linksys Wireless Ethernet Bridge WET11 link to a NetGear 10/100 Switch FS116.

And here is the EMIII screen

All folding clients (3.25 beta) use the option -advmethods -forceasm with no lockups

I hope this farm would push my weekly output to 5000+!

One more thing, this farm is warming up my room really well

Fold on, OCAU!!

Kingsley

Edit: Add internet connection details

Very nice setup there Kingsley, can you tell us more about the software used to run these boxes? Would be useful for those of us with a few boxes that are dedicated to folding.

Well done Kingsley ... did you buy and build all those machines for folding only?? Are they in use for anything else?

Oh. My. God.

Very nice. As a rough estimate, what did this cost you all up?

Do you want me to come around today (its my last day in Bunbury) and explain it all to you, once you have lost someone close to cancer, alzheimers, rhetts syndrome...perhaps you will understand....one day !
