Someone trying to restore a 1954-56 Strat, which would then be worth in the tens, perhaps hundreds of thousands.

Queuing up at 6am?

Well hopefully not too many people know about it... though that's probably unlikely now that I think about it.

did you end up fixing the bridge?

I was on the Jemsite forums and A few people have experienced problems with the lo-trs trem (that I had problems with)

Although the bridge can be replaced with a gotoh or something I read somewhere.

I can't believe I have been absent for 2 whole months. Too much work with no play. I wonder if anyone missed me. haha jk.

Anyways, nothing new with me. I sold that PRS Santana SE. After a few days of playing it I finally realized that it was a horrid guitar! The pickups were very weak, and the neck was not very comfortable. Accessing the higher frets was a pain, specifically the 19-22nd frets. Sold it to someone who would appreciate it more than me.

Well, I guess I will go back some pages and read everything I have missed.

Honestly I have not been able to get around to that. But most likely this month. I'm hoping. Depends on how busy I am. But once I get everything I will start on it asap. The guitar has just been collecting dust.

My offer to take that jackson off you, as is, stands. PM a price and we'll have a talk.

Hmm, I may have to do some thinking about that. If I am positive that I won't have a chance to work on it, then I will sell it to you. I'll let you know though.

Ronald!, your return reminds me of one of the funniest double entendres in OCAU history (ie. when slashrox said "because ronald mcdonald told me to").

Am I the only one who thinks we may be a bit overdue for a "What Guitar/Amp Should I Buy" section on the wiki? Or maybe, 'a lot' overdue? Getting mildly sick of answering the same question 5 times per month and I bet I'm not the only one. I'll try to get it started sometime if somebody else doesn't beat me to it, but I'm just putting the word out there in case anyone else is interested too. Different people here have different areas of expertise to contribute.

Yeah that would be useful... stuff on what people use to record or just a general FAQ would be cool.

But I stopped asking those questions ages ago

Anyway is reading guitar tabs (or sheet music) easy to read? will i pick up how to read sheet music quickly? Ive got a few guitar books here (such as acdc etc) with sheet music in it and its useless at the moment because I cant read music

edit: I should also add every song I know how to play on guitar, I learnt by ear.
