anyone heard of turbo cell software for wireless networks? its made by Karlnet, and it does super packet aggregration, and supposedly solves the hidden node problem, im just after a sniffer to see the networks that use turbo cell.
its still on 802.11b, but turbo cell changes the packet sizes, and the only sniffers i can find cant pick up the turbo cell networks becasue of the packet changes. cheers guys

The Perth Freenet was contemplating purchasing Karlnet software/firmware to resolve hidden node problems, but decided it wasn't worth it, particularly given the fact that Karlnet are not interested in supporting their software on any newer linux kernels. Instead, we have been testing WiCCP (a Greek solution, with numerous enhancements implemented by Perth, including super packets), as well as a home-grown solution called Frottle. So far, Frottle appears to be providing better performance. Quote:

That way the client is delivered an ethernet service instead, and this is less fuss for the user, not to mention other benfits where cabling and installs are concerned. till |
