Default Data Cable Driver Problems

Hey with my Nokia 6610 POP-Port data cable, first time i use the data cable on a cmoputer, i put it in and it works fine, once i have unplugged the device, and then plug it back in to use agan, it comes up as an "Unknown Device" under USB, and when i goto update the drivers it says these are the wrong drivers, but they worked first time around, anyone know why ?
