Hi all...
I was wondering if anyone knows whats happening with VODAFONE? Everytime I think about changing to VODA their plans seem to change. Does anyone have any inside info about the upcomming new Vodafone plans set to change end of this month? Will it be better to sign up now or wait till the end of the month? My girlfriend is currently on a Business Choice 40 which sounds good but doesnt seem to be on offer anymore. She says she gets - 20c / 30sec to any network off peak - 20c / 10 mins to any VODA peak - 1 buddy @ 10c/10mins I cant seem to find a plan that seems to fit this description. And i dont think Business Choice 40s are still being offered. There is the VODA 40 plan but that has NO BUDDY and NO - 20c / 30sec to any network off peak? But still the VODA 40 seems decent. What to do? Wait or sign up lock and lock in a good deal for the next 24 months? Also what handsets are available on a 24month x $40 plan? cheers |

I've moved you're thread this time, but I'm sure you've been a member long enough now to know where to post.

60 plan is where it all starts to happen.
& what they showed to the misses & I what you get on a 40 plan was horrible to say the least. Some dodgy looking nokia thing & a couple of others.

I agree.
The pricing on phone calls and the phone options @ 60 dollars, IMHO, are worth the extra cash over a $40 plan. I saved about 35% on my call rate, and got a free T610 on joining a $60 plan. The prices and phones at $40 were, in a word, crap. |

A friend at Vodafone told me they're announcing something new in the next few weeks and told me to wait until then. She wouldn't say anymore than that.

Vodafone doesn't do as much with calls, but the phone options are better. Sounds like your GF got a good deal - that happens! |

Anyone willing to divulge some detials yet?
I've found a Vodafone dealer who will provide me with a non-live T610 on the current $60 plan. Should I grab that, or is it REALLY worth hanging out for the new plans? |

I found this in aus.comms.mobile:
> Its called RED SIM and is due to be launched on 1.9.03 has already > > mentioned. Yes there will be 3 different 'plans' to choose from, i.e. > > including txts, calls, free calls, longer access time etc. This way you > > choose the 'plan' that suits your lifestyle.
