I wanted to edit some mpegs (and avis) and need a simple free editor. I only need the very basic tools (mainly just cutting scenes/frames, maybe slight order change)
Can anyone recommend something free and easy to use? (i tried windows movie maker but it seems to only like wmv :@) |

The link works perfectly, its your end. When it works for you, have a look in there
or you could just search for VirtualDub in www.google.com |

It also isnt meant to edit mpeg's, but it can interleave them and edit into avi files. Doom9 (the link posted by Skitza which you apparently are having troubles accessing - its fine at my end) is a great site with lots of really good guides, and heaps of information in the forums. If you cant figure out how to do what you want from that site then you probably cant do it.
