2 PC's here.
1 RC heli and 1 RC 1/8 Buggy
I have RC simulator software(RealFlightG2) to practice my heli moves. Radio plugs into PC via the parallel ports. So in the end I need both.

You've already got a PC so I say go out and get the R/C car.

What fun is a new CPU or waterblock going to be really?

I've flown R/C planes and helis and driven cars as well.

Definitely good fun and beats sitting at the computer all day long.

Don't get me wrong - computers can be good fun too but when your using one all week its nice to get off it on the weekend and do something different.

Oh yeah ppl will think you are a geek if you spend your life on the computer.

Do you need any more convincing?

yes but least with a PC you Dont Have to spend money on it if you dont want to say i get a nice new athlon system it runs good i dont have to spend any money on it ... i buy a r/c car i have to buy new Tires when they were out ( and their ussually $20 a pair or so ) and then buy more fuel at about $15 a bottle for 1litre which really you could use in 2 days or lesss ..... its an expensive hobby not to mension the repair and cleaning

Will the RC just be for playing around with or would you like to get into racing at a track??

Also, nitro or electric?
