so im onto my 4th phone
![]() optus is now saying my screen flickers cause i dont have a newish sim card, something to do with larger memory on the new ones. this sound feasible? |

i dont see how the simcard can affect the screen....
the optus ppl could have been refering to the fact that older optus simcards (1998 and before) - are not able to work in the new phones like 6610 6100 7210 7250 but i thought they either work or dont work... seriously screen flicker because of simcard sounds like bs to me i suppose you can try a friend's simcard in your phone (second set of digits on the simcard determines the year of manufacture of the simcard) - so 0299241419234... would be a 1999 simcard. I think you're wasting your time though - sounds a little too unbelieveable |
