Cool. thanks. *clicks*

edit: after downloading it - it does look better, but the first thing i did was go into the program preferences of it... and it opened a pref window that was bigger than both my screens, and wouldn't respond to keystrokes.
I had to force quit it.

On the second launch, the prefs come up, but i've got to install the theme again. no biggy though.

Woah. now i am impressed with this one. *adds it to dock*

The UI is really nice - just by default. No netscape hangover, a nice flat white theme...
The only thing i don't like now is the icon... oh, and middle click=new tab doesn't work yet.

Those themes still don't work on it, but i don't care, i think i like the default better.
Do you guys want a screen shot?

netscape is based on mozilla (not FB) not the other way around and the old mac theme for FB was basically the windows theme which was made by quadrone.

It's good to see that Firebird has been given a GUI make over for the Mac.

Can my imported ie favourites be set alphabetically ?? When I go manage bookmarks - view - sort by name, it won't work. I sorts any bookmarks installed by firebird but not the separate ie ones

This is a very nice nice browser and my thanks to the maker and those that have added to this thread

I thought I'd try fire/thunderbird after a fresh format and I think the programs are great! However in thunderbird I am having the slightly annoying issue of the date not being shown properly on incoming mails.

Eg. In the date column and even in the email header the date is only shown as: 9:38am for example. Instead of a full date including day/month/year kind of thing. Does anyone have an idea to resolve this? It was never an issue in OE.

It will show the time (eg: 9:30am) only for e-mails that have been received on the current day.
So tomorrow it should show the date instead of time.

Ahhhh I see, thanks for clearing that up! No wonder I couldn't find anything about it in a faq or anything. Cheers!

I ditched 0.6.1 because I found it slower than IE but this new version is awesome and has everything I want

Anyone know If there is a way to get Flashget right click menu extensions in Firebird?

im not sure if therre's a flashget plugin, but you can try the 'mozex' extension, it adds a submenu to the right click context and you can make it send a link to whatever programs you want, or you can make it intercept links to files and direct them to flashget.
