It allows WebPages you have in your bookmarks to open in a sidebar panel.

It’s simple to use, Open the Properties window for any bookmark, and choose "Load this bookmark in the sidebar."

hmmm....
I do that. and it just opens the bookmark in a new tab....

Maybe tabbrowser extensions are messing with it?

yeah loads tons faster nowdays,

my extensions still work except for the Flame theme

but apart from that it rocks, hopefully soon Flame will be ported to 0.7

I have updated my first post and added links to Optimised Firebird 0.7 Builds.

I'm using the P4 optimised build on my Inspiron 8200 Notebook, I have noticed that Firebird loads up faster and is even more responsive then the normal build of Firebird 0.7.

0.7 is the shit!
loads quicker, scrolls nicer, and doesn't seem to spike my cpu load like 0.6 did.

cheers for posting the urls to the optimised binaries (i'm such a slacker)

i just updated my older build (04/10/03) to the latest optimised one (14/10/03) and my god it's SO much faster (using the sse optimised ver for p3/4/athlons

now if i can just get the latest thunderbird build too

i just installed the firebird optimised for pentium 4 and HOLY SHIT it is running a lot faster.

In what ways has the speed increased with the optimized version? I really cant tell the difference.

it starts up a lot faster for me i would never go back to the normal build.

what CPU you got bone?

also how did you install it i delete the old folder also i copy my bookmarks and then delete my profile and make a new one and its running sweeeeet for me.

Yeh i deleted the old folder, but the settings are the same as the old build. I think i'll do it from scratch.

I don't understand why Mozilla are making two separate browsers?

Why not incorporate the improvements into standard mozilla?

What are the main differences anyway?
