What do you upload so much?
Don't get me wrong, I'd rather they weren't counted, but its not a problem if they are.

Think Internet games mate, with different netcodes you can get to do alot of uploading (I used to do 4k/second and play alot)

So are we going to get shaped?

it is most certainly not unlimited, otherwise iiNet, Internode and all the other ISP's who do flatrate would start falsely advertising (to an extent) unlimited* internet.

Ermm.. whether there is throttling or not its still unlimated, they are not going to stop you downloading.

And it says on their site you "May" be speed limited to 64k.

i know what you mean, but when shaping occurs its not really unlimited, you know...if it was constant 64k then yeah unlimited, but i wanna know whats with the "may" be shaped...i mean its telstra, wth things like that they're usually spot on to steal your money...

Yeah.. which is exactly why "may" means they wont.

They would screw us out of all the money they can right?

If they could implement a cap why would they say may if they want all our money?

They would say there will. And knowing telstra they arent going to say they wont.

HAHAHAHAH SUCKED IN!!

Too bad all those ppl who moved over to telstra cause optus has released an unlimited* 12gb plan for only $69.95!!! thats 2 more gb than telstra!

Also optus contracts are only 12 months long and u can save $100 if u bring a compatible modem - theres around 5-10 modems which they list.

well telstra still isn't capping, I'm sure optus won't let people go crazy like that.

Quite happy with my 40Gb+ worth of downloads this month and still pulling over 600kb/s from good sites

Ok if you're in an Optus area.
Try getting Optus cable on the Gold Coast.
