I've posted this before.

Not really macro as it was taken with the standard kit lens. 300d

I am planning on getting a macro soon as its one of my favourite area's of photography. Just the geek in me coming out I guess.

EDIT: Got rid of the thumbnail as I wanted everyone to suck more bandwidth.

I went down the beach yesterday and took a few photos... OK so I took almost 100, I don't take my camera down there much so I made the most of it I cut down my posting selection to these, which is still a lot, but I tried. These were taken with my G3, if you want to know more just check the EXIF metadata. All of them except for back_beach80-corrected.jpg are the original unmodified picture, except for some cropping and the watermark. EDIT: and much lower quality compression to cut the file size right down.

Some darn nice shots in here, lads. Congrats. I love macro shots.

One of my favourite macro shots was from when I was building my speakers - I guess you could call it "Forest of Screws " It was taken with a Canon EOS1000fn, and scanned (alas, the days before my digital camera!)

Larger image available here.

Here's the first macro shot I took with my digicam - Fuji Finepix A203

just some quickly taken macro shots of my cactus flowers, a random desktop and my model dodge viper
camera was the sony 5megapixel one, can't remember the model number. Seems like a nice camera but I've got no idea about properly focusing a digital camera...

you can check out my other photography at my account @ DeviantART

I love macro shots, they are just so detailed and beautiful at showing the finer points.
