Question Arctic Cooling Fans

Just ordered a couple of these, is anyone currently using them?

http://www.pccasegear.com/prod1113.htm

"This highly efficient fan from Arctic Cooling adjusts automatically to the case temperature and is silent in operation between 20 and 45°C. In this range, the fan works virtually silent between 1200 - 2100 RPM, yet still moves up to 31.5 CFM!"

Sounds pretty good for a quiet setup, and hopefully will mean I dont have to buy a fan controller!

No I haven't used these, but am actually also considering purchasing a pair to put into my Antec Lanboy case. Hopefully they will reduce the temp issue I am having, by moving a large amount of air, yet remaining damn quiet!

They seem quite good, and damn damn cheap!
Let me know how u go mate!

http://www.pccasegear.com is closed until the 12th, so I think mine should arrive towards the end of next week. They will be used in a Coolermaster Centurion case. I wish I bought a LED fan for the front thought, it would look sweet with the light coming through the mesh/filter

I bought 2 from HD Audio Visual who are OCAU sponsors. One was free with my VGA Silencer.

They are pretty good fans, very quiet but with a bit of bearing noise. The bearing quality doesnt seem to be as good as you would get on a Papst or Panaflo, but you have to be pretty pedantic to notice. When it is nice and cool they push fuck all air, but as it heats up the rpms go up a little.

I have one on my V7 whilst im upgrading my WC setup, it seems to do a reasonable job of keeping the CPU cool.

EDIT: Just thought Id let everyone know. HD Audio Visual have them for $9.60 as opposed to PCCG's $12.95. They also do $5 express post.
