Default nForce 2: sound problems when typing

Hi everyone.

I have a 8RGA+ mobo with onboard audio which i use. I've noticed that sometimes when i type on my keyboard music that i play in winamp (tried 2 different versions) becomes jerky. Sometimes the music just becomes very inaudible (dont even have to type).
Donno what the go is.
Had to reinstall win XP not long ago. Previously i didnt have these problems and i dont think i had them in the first couple of weeks after the latest XP instal.

Thanx.

Give the 4.09's a try, if that fails 4.08

er ..

if you follow the options here [ http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp ], can you show me where these 4.08 or 4.09 drivers are hidden?

is your system running at stock speeds or o/c'ed?

Ive heard of nforce2 boards with the sound stuttering probs being a result of fsb o/c ing

I used to have this prob on my 8RDA+, fixed it by disabling ACPI in bios + reinstalling windows.

im pretty sure there is a way to do it without a reinstall tho, have a search on here, you should be able to find it.

i have/had the same problem, haven't noticed it in the last week but before it was quite disturbing.

Was thinking about getting a usb keyboard to see if that was any better...
