Hi, i'm chasing a soundcard setup for a DJ computer setup. I need something that will allow me to playmusic through 1 output and listen to something else through headphones through another output or something like that...
Does anyone know of a soundcard and software that would be suited to this?

You could get two sound cards, and run two instances of your media player, and select one sound card in one, and the other in the other instance. I know you can do this with winamp, not sure about other programs. Also winamp has alot of plugins available for DJs.

if you have a 4.1 soundcard there are programs that allow you to do this using the front channels for speakers and the rear channels for headphones. Virtual DJ is one of these, which is a nifty little program
However you need the full version to make adjustments to the sound properties.
