Default 3.2G-E's (Prescotts) on sale...

Just in case ya guys didnt know... 3.2Ghz Prescotts are on sale at Computer World as well as 3Ghz, 2.8Ghz and 2.4Ghz...

It seems the 2.8E is the best buy for only 270$$, given that you can oc this Prescott with ease to at least 3.4 Ghz aircooled and at stock voltage.

To buy now a 3.2E (478) Prescott for 430 $$ when in 3 weeks the 775 version is launched is maybe not such a good idea.

Has anyone overclocked a Prescott 2.4 (533fsb) ?? Would love to see the results.. Apparently it is a corker!!

We have the 2.4E 533MHz available, but I don't think the rest will be out until April 2nd.

Hey chainbolt, are you sure it will be called a 3.2, and not a 7 series......
Intel will be renaming there processors soon. They are going away from the whole MHz naming.

Just curious, whats pricing like on 2.4Es from other vendors? For the $30 dollars difference between the 2.4E and the 2.8E, it doesnt look like its worth going the 2.4.
