Okay, here is a question about insurance.
I just picked up insurance (premium insurance) for my ship 2 nights ago. Last night, it got shoot to hell. Now I got this email telling me that I got a replacement ship and a cargo full of ore. Now where do I pick this ship up. Do I need to go back to where I purchased my insurance from in order to pick up my ship? The next equestion is about skills. As a new player, what skills should i be focusing on? Currently I have been doing a lot of missions for agents as they pay well. However it seems that every second night, I am loosing a ship to NPCs. So I am thinking about focusing on Mining for a while until I can :- 1. Get a much bigger ship 2. Get my shields and shields skills improved. As a starting player, what skills should i be focusing my training on? I am being to get to the point where some of my skills are going to be taking DAYS to learn. Last night, I did purchase Engeneering and started to train that. Quote:

It's the isk that counts.

BSOD's almost every time I'm in combat have forced me to pull my pc apart and rebuild it again from scratch.... Not much fun getting podded when you don't even get to see it happen. Hopefully won't happen anymore. If this doesn't work, I'm going to have to turn off audio and see if that works.

It was a always going to be a pretty anti-climatic battle anyway. Most rag-tag unorganised gang EVER I was in. Rush jobbed a T1 frig with nothing but a small nos, web and scram. NO GUNS, hahahah! Along with 1 thorax, 1 raven, 1 absolution and one late crow. Died on the EC>Tor gate.

With the entire skill thing leveling being time based, does this apply to ALTs too.
Eg. I create an alternitive character, and long log on just to change skills training, and then go back to playing my main character? People are right about the 2 weeks not being enough time. Like I one my second week of the game, and I feel that I have barely scratched the surface. |

So much for that idea.
BTW, what port does EVE Online use. I need to configure work's new ISA server, so I think I might just slip EVE Online's port's via the Admin (who normally just takes my word on things) |

Well I reinstalled Eve on saturday night, after a 2 year break. I last played it during Exodus and POS had just been released.
It has been cleaned up a lot, generally smoother, less buggy and the market lag etc isn't near as bad which is great to see. There have been some minor graphical improvements, but it's still basically the same - and it's age is showing a little. I started with a brand new character, and Im kind of playing alongside a mate of mine who is new to Eve. I chose my primary occupation as a fighter but unsure where I am going to specialise just yet, I really want to get into some PvP action - but from memory it was really quite difficult so we'll see. It took less than 24 hours to lose my first ship hehe
