We were mostly close range fit so we couldn't alpha things very well. We probably would have fared better if we were arty fit but too late now.

mittens got banned and had a cry...so he burning jita. Killing anything at the undock and surrounding areas, freighters and bling ships are a priority however. Also he made an 'agreement' with most (if not all) tech moon holders for a set price on tech...so that stuff has doubled price overnight. And to finish it all off....just as this starts to whine down..hulkageddon starts....puting my pressure on mineral and tech prices along with any T2 mods or ships.
....so i'm guessing you must have been under a rock for the last few weeks flinchy?

That's a not exactly the reasons behind it. It's hardly a dummy spit.
Its a long-planned and remarkably well accomplished attempt and taking control, or at least heavily affecting the economy in hisec. Those in the know and that prepped before hand are going to do very very well once its all over. Goons had done it before on a smaller scale with the Isotope market massaging, this is a similar thing, but on a much larger scale. Last edited by droopz; 29th April 2012 at 10:33 PM. |

I must agree though on 'Its a long-planned and remarkably well accomplished attempt and taking control'...mittens control CSM, goons blue everyone, those that say no face 2000 man fleets, mittens has a cry to losing half of his 2000 men fleet to tracking titans, mittens has a cry to CCP about it and gets the only thing to counter his fleets nerfed. Meanwhile pretty much everyone is blue to goons, and of them have the only ones with tech moons in the game, he makes his little agreement, declares war on hisec as they got that much money from tech moons and the ice interdiction they can recoup the losses. He invites his fellow 4000 odd goons and 10000 blues to hisec to join in the fun and watch jita and in general new eden burn. Sounds like a good plan to me. Lets just hope CCP like watching their game burn also as all the hisec pubbies start unsubbing

I dunno. I spend most of my time in hisec lately and apart from pushing prices up this hasn't really effected me a great deal.
I'm glad that this event is burning up so much Isk though. There was far too much cash in the game and things for the most part were too cheap. Hopefully this makes the soloers and pvp only crew branch out into mining and indi parts of the game, or finally inject some more Isk to corps and players that focus on indi as their primary. The down side obviously is the Goon profiteering so hard, but with the imminent boost to lowsec hopefully some other means of tech farming will present themselves. And of course, now that Goon got this huge PR boost, it's just a matter of time until someone uses the spotlight to bring it all trashing down and get eve famous, and the cycle continues... |

What's a good 24/7 pvp corp? Made an alt just for rifting and haven't found anyone yet that doesn't have 2mil SP requirements.

I just got an email for each account I own, and when I logged in to the site to check every account had been given 39 days of free time by a GM.
Did something happen?
