Having being back for the time being.

Got my Orca and Barges out and did a bit of mining and whacked some production on to get some cash flow going again.

Also ran a couple of missions. The new missile effects are pretty and the dedicated salvaging vessel is a nice addition.

But I'm having a ball on this. Made about 25mil isk so far (great because I'm just starting a new account, got bored with my main training for a fully fitted Tengu, and I've only just got enough on it for the Tengu and subsystems).

They give you 7mil to start off and have raffles for 500k isk up to 25bil. I'm to scared to bid in the Xbil raffles cos I think I'll just be losing isk.

A mate reckons he won the 5bil once and bought his Nightmare and fits out of it with change. Pretty cool.

yet even more reason to unsub..CCP been doin this shit for over 9 years now and still overlook simply things. As for the rest of the game, it's very stagnate atm...nothing to do, no 'good fites' to be had...so fukkin boring and with the recent dramas theres no point....wheres are good place to sell an account?

I fail to see how this is entirely CCP's fault? Sure there will always be unintended consequences in building a complex sandbox, but the Goons didn't have to take advantage as they seem to have done.

It is both of their fault.

Any idiot would have know that what they were doing was 'wrong' but the Goons went and did it anyway.

And CCP really should have noticed manipulation on this scale. I mean, when one person start picking up billions of LP and items on the market start behaving strangely, alarm bells should have gone off and an investigation made.

I want my MMO developer to sit down and think, "How could someone take advantage of this in a way we didn't intend it?"

Instead what CCP do is, "Herp Derp, we're so awesome nobody could pick this apart!"

Trying to get back into this game, have to start from scratch though and waiting for basic skills to train is painful. Is FW any fun? I need something to do for the next 3 - 6 months (maybe 12months I don't know) until my skills are up to scratch and I can venture into 0.0 again.

FW is supposed to be ok from what i've heard. Your other option is Red vs Blue or RvB, which is essentially two corps who perma war dec each other for high sec PVP, (http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Red_Vs_Blue_%28RvB%29).

Alternatively, if your actually a good pilot, you shouldnt have too much trouble joining a 0.0 corp, even if you can only fly BC/Inty or similar.

RvB are solid fun and you can get out there and have a good go even in a tier one frig.

its funny because eve was my first mmo, i never realised how unique it was till I started looking for another. I'm not a fan of fantasy/melee/weapons/spam style gameplay, and outside of Perpetuum, which suffers from unplayable lag issues, I'm having trouble finding a new mmo to play. World of Tanks was pretty cool for a bit but the constant grind to level (another thing I like about eve and perpet is the time based skilling) turned me off in the end.

I signed up for mechwarrior online, not sure what that will be like but wait and see I guess!

Had a good day, but a terrible night last night

Ended up during the day winning a 4 Billion isk Lottery, however that night, i essentially caused our group to loose 1Bil in drops, and ships at least

Finally getting all organised.

Sold off most of the random gear I had lying all over the univers and a few surplus characters and now have about 90B to go PvP with

Tossing up between going back to RvB for a while or having a crack at Faction Warfare.

lol...50 to 1, even odds in the CFC/HB eyes .....and when they do get beaten they cry to CCP and get it nerfed/changed anyway

Game should just be called 'Goons Online' atm
