Default I cant decide MP3 cd player or mp3 hdd/solid state

during the past month, i've been thinking of getting an mp3 player. and i cant decide on which to get its really starting to annoying me.

i've looked at every option, and i have decided that i'm cutting the price to $350 MAX, and what i have decided on is either, UNLESS some one can point me to alturnitives ( the point of this post)

IRIVER SLIM X IMP-550 around $270

and any decent 256mb mp3 player from $200-$350

does any one have that iriver mp3 cd player ? i can sort my mp3s in folders, and such ? and how long does the battery's last without the battey extension. i almost forgot is 12mW loud enough ? i need something that is loud and i'm not sure if that is sufficant

basicly what i'm looking for is the answers to my iriver questions, or some alternatives that i havent found yet. i also have a gmail invite to hand out to any one who can provide me with some nice answers

hey, i recommend

www.mstation.com.au

theyre great! i recently bought a XEN mp3 player 256mb for 300 dollars and he gave me free stuff like accessories for the player!!

i just added him on msn and started chatting away on specs. of a really good mp3 player

- the best are made in korea, (mstation only sell korean mp3 players)
- made of alluminium
- signal to noise ratio (SNR) that is over 90B equals crstal clear sound
- output of 13mW(L) + 13mW(R), really good sound

if all these specs suit the player you want, then its a great gadget to be having!

most of the products at mstation.com.au suit these specs.

hey mate, well i got an iriver 395t and the sound is more then loud enough and this is going by a guy who use to have his sound around 8-9 on a sony discman. i would reccomend the iriver ifp series they have tons of features and great sound quality. they have also released new flash based players the 700 series which has a 18mW(L) + 18mW(R) sound output. you can get the ifp 790 for $341.00 at mp3DIRECT and that site has alot of other players to. if u want more information about the iriver players try there website it has alot of information on there to. hopefully this has help you make your decision.

i would go for either iriver 395t or the newer release 599t or similar. the prices may be somewhat higher but your getting a flash player which will not skip due to no moving parts and 28 hour battery life (from the top of my head).

i recollect the 512MB ones are about $440 and the 256MB around the mid 300 mark.

Of course he is going to say that if they only sell Korean players!! I've never hear Korea makes the best electronics.
