I'm looking for a dongle-less PCMCIA NIC.
I want something similar to the Xircom Direct Port, but am looking for something cheaper (Xircom 10/100 RealPort is about $245). I've found some made by Bromax ($103 for 10/100, $81 for $10) and DLink ($146 for 10/100) but the card itself still protrudes outside the PCMCIA port by about 15-20mm. I'm looking for something that will be flush, similar to the Xircom Realport. I don't care if the NIC takes up both PCMCIA slots (like the Xircom), as I don't need any other PCMCIA cards in this particular notebook. Who else makes similar PCMCIA NICs? Cheers, Martin. |
