I just picked up a new lappy a couple of months ago. A good upgrade from my old PII-400Mhz beastie.

Current:
Compaq nx9010
Intel P4-m 3.06Ghz
512Mb PC2100 DDR RAM
60Gb 5400rpm HDD
CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive
15" SXGA+ TFT LCD (1400x1050)
ATI Radeon Mobility
802.11b Wi-Fi

My old lappy was another Compaq.
Compaq M700
Intel PII-400MHz
288Mb RAM (32Mb Standard + 256Mb).
10Gb 4200rpm HDD
CD/DVD-ROM Drive
14" XGA TFT LCD (1024x768)
ATI Mobility (8Mb)

That about does it for me.

Isildur.
