That's my exact setup!

I couldnt live without;

Battery Bar - see all your critical battery/memory/storage card/backlight settings in only one line of the today screen

Acrobat Reader - Im a uni student, so its cool to be able to read up on my lecture slides early

Beta Player - having movies on your pda is just too cool.

WiFoFum - for all your 802.11b 'site surveys' *cough*

SpreadCE - about a million times better than pocket excel, its actually comprable to desktop excel. All that's missing is macros and pivot tables. Full graphing support is there, except 3d. Great for when im doing a lab at uni and i need a graph of my data there and then.

VNC viewer - i can administer any of my PCs from anywhere in my house.

Bryht flash player - plays all those swf files I waste time downloading from newgrounds...

Oh yeah, 4150 owners, there's a ROM update, v1.10. It's good, go grab it from compaq's ftp.

I found that quake was always too hard to play on the ppc. That and i never got above 15-20fps.

Worms kicks ass, but i played it to death. Doom was also good.

Ipaq 3950
256mb SD

1. AvantGo!
2. Worms
3. Morphgear 2.2.5.0 (Gameboy, MasterSystem and NES - also does genesis and snes but too laggy and no sound)
4. Windows Media Player (WMV simpsons episodes)

They're the main ones, I have a heap of other games and a few other programs but those are the ones I use the most with my pda!

I use my pda heaps, although I wouldnt mind an upgrade to something with more connectivity options like wireless or bluetooth. Oh well it was cheap when I got it so I got pretty good use out of it

Well, if anyones interested, just got FIFA 2002, and it simply, for a PDA game, ROCKS.

Awesome control, and great gameplay too.

dan.t.man - where would one find this WiFoFum?

WiFoFum doesnt work anymore since i updated my ROM. I think its because it also updates your wireless cards firmware. I found a link to it on the brighthand forums, but a simple google should turn up what you're looking for.

Ipaq 4150 with 512mb Ultra SD

Avantgo: random bash.org quotes

Pocket informant & PIToday plugin: keeps me organised

VTI Pocket Emulator: Emulates any Texas Instruments calculator so no need to cary round my ti-83 as well.

Bryht Flash Player: for playing flash files

WeisBar Advance: actually close programs instead of just 'minimising' them

Morphgear: emulates heaps of consoles (currently playing snes roms)

PocketWinc: Wifi exploration

I love my pda, i love being able to access the uni's wifi network and library catalog while i'm walking through the library shelves. Yay for technology!

always looking for new apps though!

Another IPAQ4150 here with a 256mb Panasonic SD Ultra

Mine was bought straight away the day when it arrived in Hong Kong (October last year) came out in Australia a few months after so I enjoyed being the only doctor having it till early this year when all the young interns started to get one each for themselves now our hospital are full of them.

Anyway I don't have a lot of games to play on my PDA anyway and the IPAQ is mainly used for work and schedules.

I've got a lot of medical text on it using iSilo and most of the software are medical (e.g. calculators and references)

Would love to get a CF adapter for my SD card slot though (if it actually exists). A little regretting not buying the 2210 with the CF card slot which would allow me to use the the whooping large 4GB+ CF microdrives (one of the medical reference available takes 1GB or sth!!!).

Nice if someone would know if there's such a "CF adapter" for my 4150.

I am not regretting not buying a 2210 as the built-in WiFi is so good, but it would be cool to either have some sort of CF adaptor (eg bluetooth, or SDIO, or via the bottom port) or/and to have some sort of adaptor so i can use my iPod as an external hdd (again by either BT, SDIO, or the bottom port)
