Unhappy Which PDA?

Going to get my GF a PDA for Christmas. Just looking for a basic one, appointments, calendar, a scratch pad / doodle / notepad thingy. Must have connectivity to PC or wireless network.

Don't want excel.

the cheapest ipaq that has inbuilt wifi is the ipaq 4150..these retail around $650

you can purchase the lower spec'd ipaqs such as the ipaq 1930, 1940 or 2210 but you will need to purchase separately a Wifi SD Card for the 1930/1940 or if you opt for the 2210 you have a choice of either a SD or CF based wifi card.

if youre on a tight budget go for the 1930 with a wifi sd card. as that will be the cheapest. If not jump into the 4150, wifi would be better if its inbuilt as it would save your slot space

I recommend the Dell Axim X30, i got one myself and it's great. Has all the things you want even Excel! I picked up the mid range model, which has everything you need. Just check out the dell site.
I picked mine up for $455 (because of the free delivery deal), so i had cash spare to get the USB cradle.
Some people complain about the plain shape, but i don't mind, it is still fairly small, light and does what i want it to do.

Tungsten E. Not as usefull as iPaqs, but its less then $300 new, they look really cool, are very small, and can connect to a pc via a small cable (as opposed to the iPaqs docking station). IT does not have any wireless features or bluetooth tho.
