Default Latest SFF questions?

Just wondering if any manufacturer has made a SFF for the new Intel chipset (915, 925 etc).

If there is, would it be worth upgrading from a SFF Soltek Qbic system (their latest AMD 64 bit one) which I own to the new Intel? Any benefits? I was told not really as the 915 and 925 isnt really showing any improvement over the 865 and 875 chipsets.

Here's a couple i've found

http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/index....code=NB-SB83G5

Here's a review of the SB81P

As to whether it's worth getting at the moment... I'd say most probably not. Best wait a while (maybe even a long while).

That's my 2 cents worth.

Cheers

We have got some 915 Mini-PC SFF systems but I personally find that there is no great improvement over 875 chip or even 865 chip systems.

Is the 915 the chipset that can still take current DDR ram as well as DDR2? Also can it still take AGP cards?

915 will take the standard DDR and the 925's that are here end of the month take DDR-II.

Been looking at a few of the reviews of the Shuttle SB81P.
Its new cooling methods look quite "cool" in every way.
Uses 915 chipset, can do raid as well! Not too bad for sff.
Price presently a bit heavy, but could represent a whole new trend in
sff cooling. Technology in this fascinating.
