Default Iwill Dual Opteron SFF (ZMAXdp)

Although some of this maybe old news, see here http://www.iwill.net/zmax/zmaxdp_1.asp

The Iwill Dual Opteron SSF (called ZMAXdp) setup is very real...There's a Linux Presentation in Japan, and Iwill demo'ed it!

What it looks like on the outside

What it looks like on the inside

The back

It is said to sample within 6 weeks. Its not only in RED.

This may be not OK to some folks because it only has 2 RAM slots supporting up to 2GB. It uses the NVIDIA nForce3 Pro 250Gb chipset.

It's just came out in Japan for 73800 Yen ($922 in AU$)

Babelish translation

I-central has them for $1,2k. But i think it would be cheaper to import right?

Imagine that little box in Aussie summer. It only works well in cool/cold climates.

First thing is I don't trust their temp monitoring (48C for an aircooled dual CPU rig in a shoebox?), second thing is it's not in Aussie summer heat but in winter in the Northern hemisphere.
