Default Shuttle SFF Bios/SP2/Prescott CPU dramas.

I originally posted this thread in Troubleshooting forums - Help please.. How do you install SP2 for Windows XP Home Edition but it appears the problem can be isolated to certain Shuttle SFF (In my case ST61G4) and BIOS. Basically after installing SP2 the PC will not boot into Windows.

It seems this problem is common with a few Shuttle models affected by it using a Prescott cored CPU. I've just discovered a bios on the Shuttle website- ft61s02b.bin I'm hoping this resolves the issue. Also wondering if any one here has had the SP2/Shuttle/Prescott issue.

Here is the link on Sudhian forums
