Default HP Ipaq 6300 series

What is the story with these in .au?
They aren't even listed on the hp.com.au site.

On first looks, the featureset seems to have everything the xda2 has + more.

Does anyone know anything more about these? Particularly why the US seems to have plenty of info about say the h6315, yet almost zero information about that model in oz.

I've read in another forum say H6315 will land in Australia in Mid October. No official word from HP yet though.

www.ow.com.au say late october-early november, australian model will be the h6350.
What ever you do or anybody, dont import the h6340 (euro version) becuase it doesn't have the camera and costs the same amount. But for the one that imports go for the h6300 from USA/Asia becuase it is unlocked and not branded like the h6315 (T-Mobile).

Slowness is expected for a 200MHz CPU.

Of course, I would like it to have:
  • 400MHz CPU
  • 128MB RAM
  • 128MB ROM
  • VGA 640x480 LCD
  • Mega pixel camera

Of course, I know that would be a bit much to ask. Maybe a fuel powered battery can make this happen.

BTW, can I ask that how did you get your hands on one please?

Except for no phone ability, you are talking about the WiFi version of the Asus A730 (Which no-one seems to want to sell in Australia).
