Default The new post pics of yer HT thread....

Ok guyz....

I've been thinking that we need a sticky that allows us to show off our HT setup for a while....As I honestly believe that we're that only Audio/Visual forum in the world that dosen't have such a sticky! And i've finally cleared it with Agg....

So, while i'm aware that we've had a thread in the past that allowed us to show off our systems, unfortunatly, it was never made a sticky....So, here's the new "Show off yer HT thread!"

Post away, Post yer pics, post yer specs and give us all something to be competitive about and something we can waste our money on! Do it....Do it now....

Here's my contribution, specs and pics....

Hey,

I dont quite have the full home theatre setup yet, but I am working on it!

So far:

Hitachi 42PM400A 106cm High Definition Plasma Panel (1024x1024)
LG LST-4100P High Definition Digital Set top box (Connected with RGB Cable)
XBox Console with software mod to allow 1080i and HD Output cable (Component)
Laptop Computer hooked up to the second RGB input

All I need now is a good Surround Sound kit with a digital decoder and I'm set!

Its a 106cm Plasma panel, and the LG box is fantastic. Brilliantly clear picture and sound, no complaints.

If amazing that free to air HD Digital tv is clearer than DVD. Bring on the Blue-Ray DVD format I say!

Very nice - those HD Hitachi plasmas are the ducks nuts imo, easily the best plasmas on the market at the moment.

1024x1024? I've never seen this...usually it's a smalelr number as the second one isn't it....or is that a different spec?

The Hitachi plasmas are the same as the Fujitsu ones aren't they? What about Pioneer? Those 3 brands seem to be at the top of the pile.

Holy moley, those speakers are massive, what does your missus think of them?

Here's mine, I just moved into a new place and haven't wall-mounted the fronts or got stands for the rears yet.

HD Hitachi
Kef 2005.2
Denon AVR-2802
Trio-628 DVD/DiVX
HD DGTEC
HD Xbox and Dreamcast

Cabling is qed, monster and tara labs, everything is connected via either component or VGA.

This setup is far more living room friendly than my last HT rig with the Missions and the M&K and the wehey, and although its a slight trade-off in sound it's one I'd do again in an instant.

Wacky:
Well the 1024 x 1024 is the rating given at the showroom, all the true HD panels are this resolution. As for the native resolution when hooked to a PC, its 1366 X 768.

DJ Fusion:

What Hitachi Panel is that?
