Default Power Supply Power?

How much power is too much power? I am thinking of upgrading my PSU cause i think that all the fans i put in recently is to much load for my current 330 watt PSU. My mobo is an MSI MS-6704, and am thinking of getting atleast a 400 or so watt SILENT PSU? I will i hurt my current setup? Also, are there any suggestions of a really good and quiet PSU? I am leaning toward a thermaltake or a zalman?

I just noticed that it (psu) was a bit warmer after adding 2 more fans a new hdd and 2 ccfls lights. I am also trying to make my case as quiet as possible.
