True.. but most newer systems, when the cpu is idle, its as good as 'off' anyhow.. I was refering to 24/7 hard number crunching.. surely that would wear the cpu out at an increased rate?

yeah but then again doesnt heat make it a better conductor????




PS: i would love to see a computer running at -200 degrees

Yes to some extent but when u get hot your starting to break down the material, hotter tempertures take the atoms to higher energy levels and therefore will lose there electrons easyer
