Default Are the ThermalTake "Big water 12cm Liquid Cooling Systems" any good?

Just curious as to know wether these systems are any good and if they are, where is the best place to buy. And If they are crap, why?

I'm going to be running a AMD ATHLON 64mg 3200+ and a Sapphire ATI Radeon X800 XT PLATINUM EDITION 256meg ViVo / DVI video card which i am hoping i can also watercool.

Its the first semi decent kit by Tt, but the combination of Aluminium rad and copper block, (plus that DIY is heaps better) is a major flaw.

So paying around 200 for it is useless? I am best for now running a aircooled system and not overclocking my system untill i learn/understand how to setup my own system.

Another thing is, i want a cmpletely internal system, and i want warrantee on my parts, as im gunna be running a $1000 video card and i dont want any stupidity on my behalf to kill it.

Not useless, pointless maybe, but definatly not useless.

Copper and Aluminum will lead to Galvanic corrosion. It will work, but i wouldnt trust it in the long term.

Research, google, the answers will come.

You also aware that using any cooler other than stock voids your warranty?

As phextwin said copper block and Au rad don't mix even with corrosion inhibitor in the fluid as it will eventually break down and then you will get corrosion. Do some more research on components. Look at www.radiical.com.au for their gear, or try and get a storm block from Cathar in his next batch. PC Case Gear have the new MPC650 pump and rads etc. When you assemble the bits leak test it away from the computer for a few days then assemble it in the computer without stressing any of the connections.

..

If you want whats good. Only cool your CPU, dont risk killing a $1000+ Card.

I would buy the following.

Jaron IceCool 2X120mm Rad.
2 X Low noise 120mm fans.
3M of Tygon Tubing (I got some, but only cause your my mate)
1 X Storm G4 CPU Block (There is a wait unfortunatly)
and an Eheim 1048.

that would do an awsome job, and will do its job for years to come!
