Oh, is it G800 rumour time again? yawn.

I mean, I would be the first one to buy such a card, but if you see how the MURC forums have been clinging to this G800 myth for more than three years ("the saviour will come"), you tend to get a bit sceptical...

Exactly. When I hear about it, its like Oh man, stop teasing us!!When the G800 or whatever similar performing card finally comes out one day and its OUT in stores and being reviewed, then I'll look into it. Matrox has to upgrade their 3D platform some day, but I've no belief that its going to be any time soon.

What are u worried about...

The new Radeon card coming out will wipe the floor with the Geforce 4...

Gotta love competition

True, in terms of hardware, but then again, you have to rely on ATI for their annoyingly lousy as all heck drivers!

They're working on it... i'd say by the time they release it they should have a swell set of drivers.

I'd love that. But they always come out with stuff and have lousy drivers and barely get better ones. I really wish they were better. They're local to me, like only 50 KM's away. I'd love to own something thats local and stuff, but until they come out with a good all-arounder, I'll wait and see.
