Default Noob Help... changed host, now using cPanel X... i'm lost...

Hey guys,

I have been running a simple website for a while now with a registed domain. And using my service providers webspace. I just upgraded to a proper host and now I dont have a clue how it works.

Currently my setup is this: Domain name links to MyServiceProvider.com.au/MyWebsite/index.html I use FlashFXP to upload everything. And it's really simple.

Now I have a proper host and looking at my FTP though FlashFXP it has a whole bunch of folders like public_html, public_ftp, www, mail, etc... I now also have "CPanel X" and dont have a friggin clue what half the stuff in there is and how to use it.

My Question is: Where do I upload my website to? what folder? Any noob tips? I want to keep everything simple.

Any help would be appreicated.
Thanks .

public_html should be the folder to upload to. Web is just a shortcut for public_html iirc. :)
