Hi Guys,
I am thinking about getting a Nokia 6260, the one being released just now, and I was wondering what your thoughts on it were. I have been living with a Nokia 8250 for the past 2.5 years so I thought I would get something with all the bells and whistles. I am particularly interested in the photo, movie, MP3 and MMC capability of the Phone, as well as its design. I understand you might not have much experience with it but I thought I would ask anyway. I have read every thing I can on the Nokia site but I didn't see anything relating to the size restriction on the MMC card. Can I put a 256, or 512 or even a 1024MB card in there? I was also wondering if people has seen this phone cheap. In Toowoomba they want to charge me $900 for it but I can get it for $555 through Dodo, and prob cheaper if I take that quote to Brisbane. Thanks for the help.

LOL dont pay $900 for it man.
Get the DODO deal, you can join them for $9.99 and get the phone then cancel the phone plan and keep the phone. $555 is good price. You can only join DODO with credit card though. MMC depends if the phone supports it and on the Brand. Check out howardforums for list of MMC that the 6260 will support. edit: Remember the 6260 is not MP3 stereo playback only stereo Radio. With all the stuff you want from the phone maybe you should wait 1-2 months more for the 6630 (just an idea) Last edited by HellsAngel; 19th November 2004 at 4:29 PM. |

Yeah - some Toowoomba Stores are just complete f***tards. It is a little known fact that if you live in Toowoomba that you are a God-Squatting, Non-Indicating, Brainless twat who knows nothing.
After talking with some of the sales people in the store I am buying it cheaper from Dodo than they get from their suppliers - funny . 6630 you say! Let me havea a squiz at that one. Thanks

Yeah - it doesn't look too bad. I am wondering what the movie limitation on the 6260 is, with the 6630 it has a 1hr limitation.
I also like the clam shell type phones, I suppose simply because I have never had one.
