Building A Laptop?

Hey guys i am thinking of buying a laptop and i was wondering if it was possible to biuld your own.
I am very fluent in building desktop systems but am curious about how the hardware is set out in a laptop.

Also i have been unable to find laptop sites like auspcmarket and eyo that sell the hardware separately.

does anyone know any?

I have heard a bit about ASUS Whitebox "custom" laptops. Where AFAIK all you get is a chassis, screen bare mobo, etc.

Try googling for that
