Maybe you should include percentage performance increase too, as rated by maybe 3DMARK05 AND 3DMARK03 ?

CPU type, speed and FSB might be useful for listing 3D Mark scores (no use comparing 3DMark scores between 3.5GHz and 2.0GHZ machines is it).

I'll get some 3DMark 03 results for default, 10% overclock on core then mem then both and finally the highest i can get it to (~565/1130). This wont be on a clean install, but 3DMark is only really useful for internal comparisons. Might try HL2 timedemos as well.

Any other recommendations?

I guess Doom3 timedemo would be a good one to use because it really stresses the card.

Don't be too disappointed with your memory overclock, I think I've got some kind of freaky ram on mine.

Don't have Doom 3... was saving for a worthwhile game *cough* HL2 *cough*

I was just expecting a little more from it. Hopefully XBitlabs (or similar) is playing with voltmodding as we speak...

Here are some 3DMark 03 scores to show scaling.

System:
Athlon XP 2100+ @ 2000MHz (200 FSB)
512MB @ 2-2-2-11

Results:
Code:
500/1000 5921
500/1100 6240 5%
555/1000 6218 5%
555/1100 6573 11%
So, as you can see, the core/mem clocks are pretty matched at 500/1000 and so the best result in 3DMark 03 is achieved by increasing both by the same percentage for an equivilent percentage increase in frame rate.

Getting about 45 fps on the canal level in HL2 at 1024x768 2xAA 16xAF.

i picked up an albatron 6600GT yesterday and installed it moments after i pulled my 5700 Ultra out and gave it to the guy i sold it to.
After formatting, SP2, nforce drivers and forceware drivers i installed 3dmark 2003
I got 7195 Marks
not bad out of the box, i will post some O/C scores sometime today (i've got today and tomorrow off work )

PS. system used: 2500+ @ 3200+ (11 X 200 @ 1.78V) 2 X 512MB Geil PC3200 Value (2.5-3-3-11) on an Asus A7N8X Deluxe
the cooling solution on the Albatron card is a bit on the loud side, u can feel some air coming out of the sink though!

Wuz.

Got my 6600GT up to 525/1150 becomes unstable beyond that point. Gains about 150 3DMarks in 05. Memory might go higher but core doesnt seem to be able to go much higher.

the problem you have with the WMV file is because you dont have hardware overlays enabled in the media player which is playing it... winamp should have this feature turned on by default...
turning on the hardware overlay will allow it to run smoothly.

Tried it and it wont work. Updated to WMP10, also reinstalled Winamp. This is on the 66.93 drivers.

FatBoyNotSoSlim says his Gainward card has 2ns ram where mine distinctively had GC16 which I take as being 1.6ns, even though it doesn't behave like it. Strange?
