Default Wolverine SixPac 20GB image tank.... problem with XP desktop...

Hi,

Posting a help request on behalf of a friend whom has bought a new Wolverine SixPac 20GB image tank. When the image tank is connected to the USB on the desktop PC, PC will "hangs/freeze". But when removed, it returns to normal state.

However the strange thing is when the image tank connects to laptop, it works OK, no freezing.

Desktop PC: WinXP with SP1
Laptop PC: WinXP with SP2.

Is there anybody that had experienced similar problem of lockup when image tank is connected to WinXP? Thanks.... need help urgently.

Regards,
Henry

Report the post so an Admin knows you want it deleted. Admins don't get to see every single thread and post and it probably won't move by itself.

I was going to do that, rather than post, but the report post link seems to have dissapeared some time ago

Left hand side of these posts is a "give way sign" icon. Click to report a post..

It doesn't show up when you are replying, nor next to your own posts...
