hehe easy mistake

Isnt the Kt333 Pin compatible with the Kt266 chipset? if tahts the case all they would need to really do is drop the new chips into the KR7A's and they _should_ be ok

problem is though that the ABIT boards are so heavily tuned to one particular chipset doing something like that might upset the board a bit...

give it time im sure its on the cards?

I dont think its worth waiting buddy...

If you look at the performance increase its almsot Nil..

and the only other advantage is the ATA 133 support...

And the Abit board already comes with that.. so your not missing out on much if anything at all..

Plus, it's not guaranteed that Abit are going to release a KT333 chipset board yet. They may skip it (as they did with the KT266) and release a KT400 board when those chipsets are available on the market. If you buy a KR7A board now, it's still a good investment. I am using one ATM and it's performance is excellent to say the least.

Yep I agree, and also share the same opinion about the KR7A
