Angry bpa closed the WRONG account

ok.. so i wanted to have my adsl account closed due to the aup thing. so i send the e-mail to the correct address stating the account number of my adsl account, username p/w etc. etc.

I get an email back saying that yes my request has been acknowledged and to wait for further instructions. I also have a bpa cable account (poor me) and wanted to check my usage.. guess what i try to log on and it says invalid password... then it begins...

I call bpa and ask what the hell is going on. "Oh we thought you wanted your cable account closed, so thats what we did".

You can imagine my frustration at this point in time when I tried to explain that i specified the adsl account number. Then they tried to hit me with a breach of contract fee... not happy jan.
Suffice to say a few choice words were had to the poor sap on the other end of the line.

So they reset my cable account password, and have the nerve to tell me that my adsl account is STILL active.. when i told them to close it as per my e-mail ... " Sorry you have to call activations on monday" ...

ffs... telstra you truly are the weakest link.
